Cookies and similar technologies

Version 2026-10-14-beta-2 · Updated: 2026-10-16

Technologies and purposes

This policy covers cookies and similar technologies, including localStorage and IndexedDB. Elements needed for sign-in, security, requested backups and choices intrinsic to the service are distinguished from optional usage measurement. Necessity must be assessed for each purpose.

Inventory identified in the code

Sign-in: horizon-auth-session-v1 and related keys, including the PKCE verifier; fallback IndexedDB horizon-auth-cache-v1. Purpose: retain and secure the requested sign-in. Duration: linked to the session, renewal and sign-out; actual provider settings must be verified.

Dossiers and scenarios: server-only saving. Old horizon-user:[identifier]:… keys and the horizon-account-cache-v1 database are no longer read or written. Page memory holds temporary edits without a persistent browser financial copy.

Language and presentation: horizon-language-v1 and account presentation preferences. Purpose: remember service choices. Duration: until changed or browser data is cleared, subject to a future purge policy.

Tracker preferences: horizon-cookie-preferences-v1. They contain random browser and choice identifiers, the policy version, language, analytics choice, its date and a six-month expiry. When you sign in, the choice is associated with that account; another account in the same browser must make its own choice. These preferences are used to respect and prove your choices; they do not contain the financial dossier.

A browser inventory must supplement these elements with cookies actually set by hosting and sign-in providers, before and after authentication. This list is not represented as an already completed network inventory.

Optional analytics

Page, click and journey-step analytics are disabled by default. They are sent only after acceptance and registration of the choice with the account. The server checks a current, unexpired choice matching this policy version. Measurements may be linked to the account and are not described as anonymous.

Refusal lets you continue using sign-in, dossiers and simulations. This manager does not add advertising cookies. A new optional purpose will require an update and, where applicable, a new choice.

Accepting, refusing and changing choices

Reject all, Accept all and Customise are available at the first information layer with comparable ease of use. No optional choice is preselected. Closing the settings without saving does not accept anything. Reject all does not disable elements necessary for the requested service.

You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings. Withdrawal stops future collection and clears pending optional events; it does not retrospectively invalidate earlier processing. Choices apply to this browser and expire after six months, unless a policy-version change requires an earlier new choice.

You can also clear or block website data in your browser. This may remove local copies and interrupt sign-in. Acceptance of the terms of use is not consent to optional trackers.
